Who is S.C.L.F.C.C.A?

Caring, licensed providers in Scott County who believe in providing licensed care for children in a family setting.

Our Mission Statement

The S.C.L.F.C.C.A. is an organization of licensed family child care providers committed to the development of child care programs and activities, educational classes, mentoring and support networks.

S.C.L.F.C.C.A. Goals and Benefits

  • To be a support group to all in-home licensed providers

  • To provide education by means of conferences, workshops, support groups and speakers.

  • To provide current child care trends and information in a newsletter and at trainings.

  • To support licensed providers in providing quality child care services to their local community.

Member Benefits

  • Free or discounted training and workshops to help meet the requirements of licensing. Workshops are held in 6 communities in the evenings and on Saturdays.

  • CPR and First Aid Training in the Spring and Fall.

  • Free listing of child care openings for members. Members are responsible for updating changes with Kelly.

  • A chance to learn how we have a successful child care business through a mentor/mentee program.

  • Newsletter published semi-annually. Child Care Association news, provider contributions, legislative updates, licensing information, activities for children and health and safety information.
