More About My Family Child Care:
I am a licensed teacher with degrees in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education and a master's degree in Reading and Literacy. I have chosen to stay home with my children and open my home to other families looking for a loving, relaxing, educational in-home day care . I am located near the intersection of 42 and Ottawa Avenue.
The days in our home include outside play, indoor play, art projects, music and plenty of stories. As a former teacher, I naturally infuse learning into our everyday play as well as having circle time where we focus on early math and reading skills.
As a former kindergarten teacher, you can be sure that with your child in my care that they will be prepared for kindergarten. I serve nutritious hot meals with fresh fruits and vegetables with all snacks and meals. I keep my numbers low so that I can give your child individualized attention so that they thrive emotionally, physically and intellectually.
