More About My Family Child Care Calling all teachers!!!! This is a school year only childcare which means you pay NO fees during the summer months!
I have taught 2nd grade for the past 7 years, but finally made the decision this year to stay home with my own young children. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. I also earned my Master's degree in Teaching and Learning in 2007. I LOVE teaching, and can't imagine doing anything different! I teach a preschool curriculum for children ages 2-5 as well as an infant and toddler curriculum. I have created a routine in order for the children to feel a sense of security during the day, but we have a very relaxed atmosphere. We learn every day through play. We go outside to explore the world, bake recipes together, snuggle up and read TONS of books, sing songs, learn basic spanish words, have limited TV time, create beautiful works of art, and much more! I am really a home away from home for your little ones.
I believe in serving very healthy meals, including fresh fruits and vegetables daily. If I can make it homemade...I do! I love cooking and baking. We also only use BPA free plates, cups, and utensils in our home.
