WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD
This past week our Governor, Tim Walz, proclaimed the week of April 11-17, the Week of the Young Child. Governor Walz calls attention to the need for high-quality childcare and education for all young children and their families within Minnesota. These organizations work to improve the quality and availability of childcare and early learning programs. Childcare providers and early learning childhood teachers who work with young children are the backbone to the economy, health, and well-being of our communities and their unfailing efforts, especially in this unprecedented time, warrant thanks and recognition. The future of our state depends on the quality of life we provide to Minnesota’s young children today.
