At Auntie Amy’s Childcare we are a family focused in home childcare.  We focus on not just the child in care but the whole family approach.  Our families are encouraged and happily participate in “the it takes a village mentality”.  Our goal is to encourage learning thru play during the Summer and a more structured learning thru play environment during the winter months.  Time outside is utilized to the fullest extent weather allowing.  Critter exploration from catching grasshoppers and toads to watching bugs on the ground is huge.   We are a dog friendly home and also have a chicken coop.  The kids enjoy seeing the girls outside walking around and being allowed to help pick eggs.  Adventure is a core part of our environment….kids that come home dirty played hard.
